Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Opportunity

As a Physical Auction Supervisor, you'll spend your day guiding your team, ensuring procedures are followed and serving as a liaison between the customer, dealerships, vendors and financial institutions. What is Remarketing? Here at Ally we prepare and manage the inventory of Ally's U.S. pre-owned retail and lease-return vehicles, which includes Vehicle Return, Management, Transportation Logistics, Inspection - Title Coordination, Online and Physical Auction Sales. The purpose of this position is to provide quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns. This position works with other team members to ensure that the daily workload of the center is completed.
The Work Itself
- Assist in managing the remarketing activities at each auction, remarketing and storage location.
- Create and nurture relationships with dealership and GM divisional contacts.
- Assist in developing methods to minimize the expenses related to the disposal of vehicles.
- Select locations for remarketing activities and manage the relationship between those locations and the various Ally offices.
The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline required.
- 4 + years in customer service or financial services industry is needed.
- Prior leadership experience is needed.
- Education may be used as a proxy for experience.
- Project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong decision making and demonstrated leadership ability.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Knowledge of used vehicle market and distribution systems.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Extensive experience with and understanding of Ally operations and overall branch operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Base Pay Range
$55,000.00 - $95,000.00
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
