Position Summary
At CVS Health, we're working to make health care more affordable, accessible and easier to navigate. We're looking for a Manager, Executive Communications to help tell that story.
This role is for a strong writer, storyteller and project manager who enjoys turning complex topics into clear, engaging communications. You'll help develop executive content, presentations, speaking materials and colleague communications that support business priorities and help leaders connect with their audiences.
As part of the Executive Communications team, you'll work closely with communications colleagues and business partners across Medical Affairs and the enterprise to develop content, support executive engagements and bring important stories to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft executive communications, including speeches, talking points, scripts, emails, articles, FAQs and leadership messages.
- Create presentations and supporting materials that help leaders communicate clearly and effectively.
- Support town halls, leadership meetings, fireside chats and other executive events through briefing materials, remarks, Q&A and event communications.
- Partner with communications colleagues and business leaders to ensure messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to business priorities.
- Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating timelines, reviews, approvals and deliverables.
- Publish and maintain content across internal channels, including email, intranet and event platforms.
- Review communications for accuracy, clarity, brand alignment and compliance with company policies.
- Help identify opportunities to elevate important business initiatives, executive visibility and employee engagement.
- Collaborate across Corporate Affairs and the Executive Communications team to ensure a consistent approach to storytelling and content development.
- Maintain communications templates, messaging materials and editorial resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 5–7 years of communications experience in a corporate, agency, media or executive communications environment.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex topics simple, engaging and easy to understand.
- Ability to adapt to different executive voices and communication styles.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
- Excellent project management, organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience supporting executive communications, employee communications, leadership events or presentations preferred.
- Familiarity with intranet publishing platforms, email communications tools and event support is a plus.

Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Graphic Design, or a related field; relevant professional qualification or specialized training considered.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
