The F-35 Production Finance Manager will lead a team of finance professionals who execute a broad range of financial activities across multiple production and production support functions within the F‑35 program. This role is responsible for learning the production business, driving financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment while integrating data from diverse financial systems. The candidate will provide actionable business‑solution recommendations, ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, and support accurate, timely reporting to both internal stakeholders and government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct day‑to‑day management of Program Finance personnel supporting F-35 Production, Production Engineering, Fabrication, International Production, Tooling and Quality
• Provide guidance to Control Account Managers on business and financial processes
• Ensure uniform application and compliance of financial policies and procedures across all areas of responsibility
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities (including variance analysis, trend identification, and independent Estimate at Complete (EAC)
• Develop and utilize forward‑looking data analytics, visualizations, and trend analyses to inform finance strategy and decision‑making
• Conduct risk and opportunity assessments; develop mitigation plans
• Consolidate data from multiple financial systems, processes, and functions to produce actionable business recommendations
• Ensure F‑35 production contracts have sound, compliant budget baselines, risk‑management processes, and change‑control procedures
• Maintain high‑level integration between cost and schedule systems; develop and sustain accurate Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Support CAMs in creating root cause corrective action plans, variance explanations, and EAC updates
• Operate across multiple contracts with complex structures in a fast‑paced, volume‑driven environment and dive into the details
