About the Role
This is an exciting, newly created role at our Patient Logistics Center in North Fort Lauderdale! If you are looking to step away from traditional bedside care while utilizing your advanced technical expertise, this position offers the best of both worlds. Working with state-of-the-art GE equipment, you will utilize cutting-edge remote technology from a centralized location to oversee and support CT imaging operations across multiple Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs). Job Summary
The CT Technologist plays a vital role in supporting multi-site imaging operations. Operating within a centralized remote environment, this position is responsible for managing remote CT scanning operations, guiding facility-level staff through complex protocols, monitoring image quality, and ensuring seamless communication between remote imaging technicians, facility staff, physicians, and leadership. The CT Technologist ensures that all imaging services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Completion of advanced CT education or structured CT training program.
- One (1) year of CT imaging experience, required.
- Experience utilizing remote imaging technologies or tele-imaging workflows, preferred.
- Current State Radiologic Technologist License, as applicable.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- ARRT (CT) certification.
- Knowledge of CT imaging principles, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA standards.
- Knowledge of contrast administration screening requirements and CT imaging protocols.
- Proficiency with CT imaging systems and remote imaging technologies.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to assess image quality and optimize scanning parameters.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote and on-site teams.
- Basic computer proficiency and technology troubleshooting skills.
