Job Summary and Qualifications
The Administrative Assistant would be required to perform numerous administrative duties, including responding to all incoming phone calls and the appropriate routing of same. Responsible for the day-to-day function of the administrative office (scheduling of appointments, dissemination of information to case managers, social workers etc.). Serves as liaison for CM/SW Assistant Director and Director during their absence. Communicates with case managers, social workers, local healthcare representatives. Assists will utilization review tasks.
- Demonstrates Reliability/organization ability and sound judgment
- Manage filing system
- Fiscal responsibility
- Handle a multitude of correspondence (ingoing/outgoing) department directors.
- Knowledge of current issues (Hospital/Division/Corporate)
- Meeting/Reporting Assignments
- Participates in committees as necessary.
- Participates in in-services and meetings.
- Routing of requests for UR information to appropriate case managers.
- Stays informed of deadlines (Hospital/Division/Corporate/State)
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate/College Degree preferred
- Executive Assistant experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- One (1) year experience required
