The PAC-3 Program Operations Manager (Prod Ops Manager) will lead a cross‑functional team to drive mitigation activities, resolve site‐level production issues, and optimize PAC‑3 missile production. This role partners closely with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Planning & Control (PP&C) to ensure cost, schedule, and quality commitments are met while mentoring Ops leads across Product Segments Teams.
Key Responsibilities
**Cross‑Functional Leadership** – Direct a team of Ops leads and subject‑matter experts to execute mitigation plans, prioritize site issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
**Resource Planning & Optimization** – Develop and maintain integrated resource plans (labor, tooling, material) to meet production cadence; drive capacity loading and workforce allocation.
**Cost, Schedule & Quality Management** – Own the operational performance envelope; monitor budget adherence, schedule margins, and quality metrics; initiate corrective actions when thresholds are exceeded.
**KPI Development & Reporting** – Define, track, and report key performance indicators (cycle time, throughput, scrap rate, on‑time delivery, etc.) to senior leadership.
**Process Improvement** – Lead cycle‑time reduction and span‑of‑control initiatives; implement Lean/Six‑Sigma tools to improve missile assembly flow.
**Mentorship & Talent Development** – Coach product‑segment Ops leads, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support career development plans.
**Stakeholder Collaboration** – Facilitate regular alignment meetings with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, GSC, Manufacturing Engineering, and PP&C to ensure integrated decision‑making.
**Risk Management** – Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain risk registers aligned with program risk management processes.
