Overview
The Bag Tagger is responsible for assisting passengers and airline operations by accurately tagging baggage, verifying travel information, and ensuring luggage is properly routed through airport baggage handling systems. This position provides exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with airline, airport, TSA, and company procedures. The Bag Tagger plays a critical role in ensuring baggage is processed efficiently and reaches its intended destination.
Payrate: $19.81 Hourly

Responsibilities
- Verify passenger travel documentation and baggage information prior to processing.
- Print, apply, and verify baggage tags in accordance with airline procedures.
- Ensure baggage is routed correctly to designated flights and destinations.
- Assist passengers with self-service kiosks, bag-drop stations, and check-in processes.
- Inspect baggage for compliance with airline size, weight, and security requirements.
- Resolve baggage tagging discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide passengers with baggage claim information and travel assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of baggage processing activities.
- Communicate effectively with airline staff, baggage handlers, supervisors, and airport personnel.
- Follow all TSA, airport, airline, and company security procedures.
- Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Assist with operational needs during peak travel periods and irregular operations.
