Come and be part of our team in the dynamic world of Lockheed Martin Space. We are seeking a Entry Level Technician to work at our Littleton, CO (Waterton) site.
The Entry Level Technician for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) in the LSTTB laboratory will be responsible for fabricating mechanical chassis and rack (console) assemblies and then completing the electrical interconnects based on schematics for all space‑flight and missile‑defense programs to include Orion, FBM, CPS, NGI, Capital. The technician would be producing a wide range of build types from loosely defined development prototypes to high‑volume, non‑deliverable LM‑owned equipment and fully qualified deliverable items for external customers such as NASA, the U.S. Navy, and SpaceX. The role includes fabricateg extensive cable and harness assemblies, as well as CCA board assemblies.
Key Duties for this position will include:
- Working from engineering drawings, written work instructions and process specifications to assemble structural and precision mechanical components in a shop environment.
- Working to "build to print" instructions using engineering drawings and schematics
- Daily use of both mechanical and electrical tools. (Crimpers, Strippers, standard tools)
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand the english language utilizing drawings, schematics, sketches and any other form instructions to build.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with the proper usage of mechanics hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with test tools and processes.
- Some form of cable and harness fabrication/repair experience.
- Must be a United States citizen.
Desired Skills
- Aircraft & Powerplant license or similar professional certifications or military experience.
- Any kind of technical hands on experience using tools
- Military Expereince
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41000.00 - $76100.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
