Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Material Handler to join its organization.
Responsbilities:
- Handle receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse.
- Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site
- Performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
- Open containers using hand tools: counts, weighs and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information.
- Operate a forklift.
- Follows department's material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation.
- Work with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals.
- Work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs.
- Perform daily and periodic physical cycle counts of inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - High School Diploma with 1+ years of experience
- Proficient Forklift Operator
- Strong communication skill
- Must be able to work with a team
- Availability to work overtime
- Organizational skills
- Ability to physically lift objects up to 35 pounds
- A strong work ethic
- Basic Math skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Oracle or SAP experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Manufacturing or Warehouse experience
- Inventory control experience
- Shipping and receiving material handler experience
- Time management skills
- Ability to work alone or as a team
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $38041 - $60865

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
