Job Summary and Qualifications
The Methodist Healthcare System Partnerships Manager works in collaboration with the Marketing, Communications, and Community Engagement teams to lead the execution of partnerships strategies for Methodist Healthcare. The position reports directly to the VP of Marketing and Corporate Affairs and works closely with the AVPs of Communication, Community Engagement, and Marketing.
What you will do in this role:
- Directs the partnerships plan and strategies for Methodist HealthCare with respect to the Spurs, San Antonio Zoo, Sean & Claudia Elliot, Univision/Brenda Macias, and other partnerships, including contract and relationship management, activation planning, and the execution of contract initiatives that align with the work of the healthcare system. This includes cross-functional collaboration across the division and facility teams, as well as in-depth reporting and storytelling across the organization.
- Works with VP of Marketing and Corporate Affairs on an annual partnerships strategic plan that integrates and aligns with the department and division plans. Serve as a primary point of contact for partnerships-related relationships including the partner teams, department leaders, facility leaders, and division executive stakeholders. Manage and develop reporting frameworks that communicates and amplifies the value of the parrnership and the attribution and impact on organizational goals. Leads cross-functional and cross-departmental projects that elevate Methodist Healthcare’s mission through the execution and development of partnership activations and new partnership opportunities.
- Partners with Communications and CCE teams on facility-level partnership activations, content, and internal/external story development. Works with the Community Engagement team to execute community-driven partnership activations that further the organization’s mission and commitment to the community. Partners with AVP of Marketing on partnership-specific marketing executables, content ideation and development, social media management, and system campaign integrations.
- Supports the successful execution of all contract deliverables including marketing materials, appearances, employee engagement events, ribbon-cuttings and grand openings, content development, community events, reporting to department and partner leadership, and more.
- Manages the ongoing relationships with partner entities, ensuring strong collaboration and mission/goal alignment. Relationship management includes management of contracts and payments, regular planning and check-in communications, scheduling QBRs with leadership teams, project plan development, and ongoing reporting.
- Manages the purchasing, inventory, budgeting and distribution of all partnership-related giveaways, branded items, collateral, and more.
- Supports the VP of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, as needed, on special projects, large events, or assignments.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in field of partnerships, vendor management, marketing, community engagement or a similar field.
