Marketing at Schwab plays a critical role in shaping how clients experience our brand, products, and services. Our teams bring strategy, creativity, and execution together to deliver meaningful, consistent, and trusted experiences across the client journey.
Marketing interns gain exposure to how a large, client‑focused financial services firm brings ideas to life across channels. Interns may support initiatives related to brand, advertising, product marketing, digital marketing, data and analytics, or client marketing. Interns contribute to impactful projects that require collaboration, analysis, creativity, and disciplined execution. Take your marketing career to the next level through immersive learning, mentorship, and championing the client experience.
Internship Dates: June 7, 2027 – August 6, 2027. Location: Austin, TX.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and develop insights through coursework, projects, internships, employment, or extracurricular experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations, summaries, and professional business communications.
- Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation and project materials.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with peers, teammates, and stakeholders across teams.
- Proven ability to manage assignments, meet deadlines, and follow work through to completion.
- Ability to learn new tools, platforms, processes, and business concepts quickly while applying feedback to improve performance.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in marketing, analytics, business planning, operations, communications, or related business functions.
- Experience conducting research, synthesizing information, or developing recommendations through academic, internship, or project-based work.
- Familiarity with content development, brand standards, audience-focused communications, or marketing concepts.
- Experience creating presentations, reports, written summaries, or stakeholder-ready deliverables.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
