Job Summary and Qualifications
The Training Developer is responsible for efficient and effective development, maintenance, and delivery of content-specific curriculums. This individual works closely with Learning and Development teams to ensure course content and delivery meets the needs of targeted audiences. The Training Developer must be proficient in facilitation and interpersonal communication, and consistently demonstrate skills in organization, prioritization, and professionalism.

Duties (included but not limited to)
• Assists in performing an annual education needs assessment as input to the strategic education program
• Collaborates with leaders to determine the most cost-effective method for training based on the topic and audience
• Comprehends new concepts, content, and processes quickly and converts knowledge into effective training programs and materials
• Develops content and delivers and supports training initiatives for various groups using a variety of delivery methods, including classroom-based, 1:1, self-instructional materials, job aids, virtual classroom, and webinars/web events
• Applies adult learning concepts through program content and delivery
• Consults with team leaders and instructional designers to increase expertise in course design
• Utilizes desktop publishing and graphics packages, simulation software, and audio/visual technology, to produce professional and effective training materials
• Maintains templates and standards for consistent course development and delivery (e.g., instructor evaluation processes, standard course content, and development methodologies)
• Demonstrates professional and appropriate interpersonal communication with staff of all levels
• Manages multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines
• Provides expertise and assistance to instructors, team members, and other locations, as needed
• Ensures completion of all training administration activities associated with training delivery • Provides training reports to management, as needed
• Communicates opportunities for improvement in course materials
• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement”

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Learning Sciences required
• Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements
Experience
• Minimum two years' experience in content design, development, and training delivery required
• Minimum one-year experience in content development in virtual classroom delivery required
