Booz Allen is seeking a Mission Systems Design and Transition Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Command client, who will be responsible for leading and overseeing all hardware installations for mission systems, which are being installed into a new facility. You’ll oversee the design planning, transition coordination, and installation of the required mission systems. You will pioneer, develop, and deliver a sustainable plan that will integrate into the overall schedule, using your expertise and dedication to help ensure the success of the missions.

You Have:
Experience initiating, planning, conducting, and coordinating hardware installations with multiple agencies
Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to work with the multiple programs of record to ensure a seamless transition into a new facility
Experience with strict compliance of DoD regulations and Command guidelines
Knowledge of engineering and technical topics in the various elements of network hardware and server equipment
Knowledge of mission systems
Ability to negotiate complex technical solutions within specific functional areas with major stakeholders
Ability to plan, organize, direct, and coordinate significant and complex projects
Ability to collaborate closely with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless program of record integration into the overall C4I and IT architecture
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience working with multiple external organizations to coordinate resource access, de-conflict schedules, and assist with budgets and constraints
Experience with project management best practices and execution
Knowledge of risks at all levels, including design, system, program, mission, and strategy
Ability to ensure projects remain consistent with program objectives, costs, schedules, and performance criteria
Ability to lead and manage engineers and technicians, project management, including providing technical vision and strategic focus, workforce development, and mentoring and coaching technical experts
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
