This is a critical, high-visibility role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the future success of a large Federal healthcare modernization program. A successful candidate should be an experienced project manager who is a problem solver and is comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders. Candidate should be able to multi-task under pressure and perform tasks such as technical analysis and troubleshooting.
Internal Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee delivery of enterprise Federal healthcare data migration objectives including extract, transformation and loading activities from myriad legacy data sources to the future Oracle solutions.
- Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget and within scope.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including schedule management, resource assignments, and status reporting.
- Provide oversight and guidance for multiple teams across multiple Oracle organizations. Teams include consultants, developers, engineers, operations, support, contracting, operational excellence, communications, reporting, etc.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding status and health of projects.
- Work directly with clients and vendors to ensure deliverables are created and submitted in accordance with contractual requirements and terms.
- Coordinate with other data migration project managers to ensure that a delivery processes are deconflicted and aligned with dependent processes and projects.
- Coordinate with Oracle Health delivery teams and PMO on status reporting, updates to the integrated master schedule (IMS), and executive level presentations.
- Document, brief, and escalate risks and issues; plan and execute mitigation strategies for risks and issues.
- Communicate defined process and procedures to team members and ensure the process and procedures are being followed.
- This role requires a motivated self-starter who can operate with extreme clarity and/or when the requirements are ambiguous.
- This role requires a strong understanding of schedule, risk and issue management.
- 25% travel (DC metro area)

- At least 4-year Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years in enterprise software deployment
- At least 5 years in Healthcare IS/IT role

- Technical requirements development experience
- Contract or requirements management experience
- Cerner Millennium database, system build, or application experience
- Cerner Millennium interface development
