Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks an Associate in New York, New York
Design, code, test, debug, document and support software applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements. Develop business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Work on multiple concurrent software development project activities. Understand the business requirements, apply object-oriented design and object-oriented analysis principles. Integrate solutions with dependent modules, document solution, perform coding, unit testing, integration testing, participate in load testing, deployment and troubleshoot production issues.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $169,300 and $169,300 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Engineer or a related role. Requires five (5) years of experience with: End to end software development life cycle (SDLC) for Agile and DevOps projects; Core JAVA, J2EE and Spring technologies; HTML, JavaScript, and JavaScript framework; REST and SOAP web services; Oracle; Development test automation including writing unit and integration tests; JIRA and the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline; Using GIT and Bitbucket; Using client-side debugging tools. Requires three (3) years of experience with: Working in a Linux environment; Shell scripting; and Developing batch jobs. Requires two (2) years of experience with: A major cloud service platform including Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS.
