Edelman is a voice synonymous with trust, reimagining a future where the currency of communication is action. Our culture thrives on three promises: boldness is possibility, empathy is progress, and curiosity is momentum.
At Edelman, we understand diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) transform our colleagues, our company, our clients, and our communities. We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging.
Health is universal – it crosses all borders and unites a wide array of audiences in its quest. It isn’t simply an industry, but an issue critical to the success of society worldwide. Edelman understands that evolving, promoting, and protecting health requires deep expertise in the health sector as well as the discipline of communications marketing. Our Health teams understand and navigate the complexities that live at the intersection of science, medicine, behavior, business, economics, and policy. By using data-driven insight to navigate the intertwined needs of our stakeholders, we capitalize on today’s communications channels to ensure the health of individuals, communities, businesses, and society.
The US Health team seeks an Account Supervisor with a passion to practice corporate communications for health-focused companies and organizations. Edelman’s Corporate Health team counsels clients to articulate and communicate the corporate stories of healthcare companies for the purpose of stakeholder engagement, reputation management, public affairs, CSR, employee engagement, and financial communications.
The Account Supervisor should bring strong experience in account management and client relationship building to be leveraged across several of the team’s highly visible and growing accounts. They should have experience working with healthcare organizations on executive positioning, thought leadership, conference engagement, and business/health media. Additionally, the Account Supervisor will support the team by performing fundamental tasks such as industry and company research, development of messaging materials, strategic planning, coaching team members, and budget management. General understanding of or interest in health care policy is preferred, but not required.
This is a great opportunity for someone to meaningfully contribute to reputation-making programs for companies and executives across the spectrum of health care.
