PC&CSO Punchlist Coordinator
KBR is seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented Punch list Coordinator to join our team on a large-scale multiyear LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) project located in Plaquemines Parish La. As a Punch List Coordinator for KBR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project by managing and tracking punch list items to ensure all outstanding issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various teams will be essential in achieving project milestones and delivering a high-quality facility.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to compile review, and update the punch list.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and document deficiencies, defects, and non-compliance issues.
- Ensure that punch list items are accurately described, categorized, and assigned to the appropriate responsible parties.
- Prioritize and track the resolution of punch items to ensure timely completion and compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear and concise records of punch list status, tracking progress, and documenting completion dates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to address punch list items related to their scope of work.
- Communicate effectively with various teams to provide updates on punches list statues, potential delays, and other relevant information.
- Verify and validate the satisfactory completion of punches list items through thorough inspections and quality control checks.
- Prepare reports and summaries for project management, highlighted punch list progress, bottlenecks, and resolutions.
- Assist in coordinating final inspection and acceptance of the project, ensuring that all punch list items are addressed before project handover.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years working experience in Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Punch List Coordinator or similar role in large-scale construction projects, preferably within the energy or LNG sector.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Co-Console, Smart Completion, MCplus and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple punch list items simultaneously.
- This position is contingent upon having a current/valid TWIC card or having the ability to renew or obtain a TWIC card. The TWIC card must be kept current and maintained through employment.
