Dowd Deliveries is a Delivery Service Partner that is subcontracted by Amazon out of the Hooksett, NH warehouse location. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, team players to deliver packages. Our mission is to get every order to the customer’s door on-time and in a professional manner. We offer full-time and part-time delivery driver opportunities. A delivery device with GPS, company vehicle, and gas card are provided!
Drivers are paid weekly! We offer direct deposit and live checks!
The work week consists of a set schedule that includes four 10 hour shifts, with 3 days off! Must be able to work one weekend day (drivers get paid an extra $1 per hour for both weekend days.)
The hours of the shifts are consistent everyday. Start time is 9:45 am, end time is 8:30pm or earlier, applicants must be able to work these hours as this is the only shift we offer. Overtime is available during the holiday season.
$20.25 per hour to $23.50 per hour **Ability to increase pay with daily and weekly performance bonuses and incentives! Drivers are required to get DOT certified once employed, DOT medical card is paid for by Dowd Deliveries LLC. Pay will be increased once DOT certification and training are complete.
Both full and part-time openings available.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver packages on time, as well as delivering them accurately.
- Able to keep a fast pace.
- Able to follow customer instructions.
- Able to work and operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.
- Able to get in and out of the vehicle 100-200+ times a day.
- Able to follow customer instructions is a must.
- Able to operate a handheld device, as well as follow navigation instructions.
- Follow all company policies, laws and rules of the road.
- Able to problem solve quickly, as well as on your own when needed.
- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED! We strive to make all our customers happy!
- Able to finish your work load in your 10 hour shift.
- Be a team player!!
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check that looks back on the last 7 years of criminal history
- Must have a clean drivers record for the last 7 years
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (Marijuana not included)
- Must be able to pass English Language Proficiency test
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Work 10 hour shifts.
- Eligible to work for any employee within the U.S
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation
