Behavior Caregivers at Maxim Healthcare Services provide support and caregiving needs for children and adults with developmental delays and/or challenging behaviors. Behavior Caregivers work closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement the behavioral care plan and keep track of the clients’ progress through each session. This care plan will improve the clients' interaction, socialization, and continuation of daily routines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to individual clients as instructed by Clinical Leadership and based on individual treatment plans as written by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implements the goals/objectives for an individual child as defined in the treatment plan
- Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
- Assists client with personal care activities
- Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)
- Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, including individuals with severe or challenging behaviors
