Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Systems Engineer for the EPASS Contract to provide systems engineering support the National Capital Region-Integrated Air Defense System (NCR IADS) program office, which is within the Digital Directorate (Formerly known as the Battle Management Directorate), located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
- Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required for all applicants
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the hardware & software integration of the sub-systems for the overall IADS program.
- Provide technical assistance in aspects of planning, architecture, design, development, integration, production as well as testing and fielding of systems.
- Produce Thread Matrices for the sub-systems for MRAs
- Conduct engineering and interoperability analysis of system components to assist with technical refresh.
- Conduct analysis to support program schedules and upgrade plans
- Collaborate with peers in program scheduling, test, logistics and engineering.
- In support of government engineers/program managers, develop and implement plans and procedures to effectively manage the program’s network in accordance with established DoD Acquisition processes.
- Participate in Program Office Working groups and other meetings to provide input to technical architecture needs for the program
