What We're Doing
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ, you’ll help plan and deliver some of the most complex combat system integration efforts in the industry. Our Ship Integration and Test teams bring advanced radar and combat system capabilities together for U.S. and international customers, taking programs from engineering development through installation, integration, testing, and operational delivery. We’re looking for an Engineering Planner who can help turn complex technical requirements into executable plans, schedules, and resources.
The Work
As an Engineering Planner supporting the International Ship Projects organization, you’ll work directly with Project Engineers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Engineering teams, and International Projects to align technical execution with cost, schedule, staffing, and program requirements.Responsibilities include:Support Financial Planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Cost Account Management (CAM) activities supporting the Lead Project Engineer (LPE).Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new and existing programs.Monitor costs, budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements.Support CAM responsibilities for program costs, staffing plans, and personnel management.Track Ship I&T progress involving design, installation, integration, and testing of combat system ship programs.Analyze program impacts across Engineering, Facilities, labor resources, and other organizations.Support proposals, cost estimates, and emerging program capture opportunities.Identify schedule, staffing, funding, and resource issues and recommend corrective actions.Support customer engagements and negotiations as required.Occasional domestic or international travel may be required (less than 5%).
