About the Opportunity
The LDI Operator operates and maintains the Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) Machine to print laser images onto PCB panels and ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with information provided by Process Engineering, the Traveler, Standard Operating Procedures and/or the Team Leader.
What You'll Do:
- Operates LDI Machine, including start-up, turn-off, operation, preventive and regular maintenance
- Inputs information from Travelers into LDI system computer
- Processes panels through LDI Machine by loading/unloading and making any necessary adjustments
- Visually inspects panels before and after processing through LDI machine for any non-conformances or defects
- Verifies proper exposure level and defects for FAI
- Performs other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Basic computer proficiency
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or comparable industry experience (Preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of related experience (Preferred)
- Knowledgeable or experience with operating Laser Direct Imaging Machine (Preferred)
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Shifts Available:
2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 4:00 pm-12:30 am
