Lowe’s is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to develop and implement integrated communications plans and enterprise messaging to inform and engage internal and external audiences about Lowe’s Technology strategy, programs and initiatives. This experienced communicator will provide strategic guidance and counsel to senior technology executives and their teams. The individual in this role will also help craft the technology narrative related to enterprise strategic goals and objectives for use in communications messaging
What You Will Do
- Creates and implements integrated internal and external communication plans for Lowe’s Technology that are aligned with enterprise strategy, upcoming business initiatives, and ensures communications are developed, approved and distributed on time, within budget
- Optimizes existing channels and explores new multimedia platforms to create compelling integrated content to inform and engage internal and external audiences; partner with corporate communications colleagues to align storytelling
- Creates and implements media relations, executive visibility and thought leadership strategy; manages external public relations agency supporting technology and innovation; promotes and protects the Lowe’s brand; recommends and analyzes data for measurement reporting
- Develops and implements strategies and tactics to communicate technology goals and initiatives to internal audiences
- Manages cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure seamless collaboration business partners throughout the company
- Supervises communication projects and initiatives promoting Lowe’s Innovations Labs
- Entrusted with confidential and sensitive company information
- Responsibilities include managing public relations agency support and may include managing an individual contributor
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Education - English; Journalism; Television / Media; Communications or related field
- 5 years of Corporate Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations experience, to include both internal and external communications experience
- 5-7 years of Corporate communications and public relations agency experience in and/or supporting technology communications
- 2 Years retail experience
- 5 Years People management / supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree - Business; Journalism; Communications
- 8-10 years of Corporate Communications, Television, or Public Relations experience, to include both internal and external communications experience
