KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Software Lifecycle Console Manager & License Desk Service Delivery to join our Global Procurement team which is part of KPMG International organization.
Responsibilities:
- Function as the Application Owner and Manager for the KPMG Software Lifecycle Console (KSLC) application; serve as expert on all functional areas of the console (holistic view) as well as the business owner of the technology and application used to run the software operations; bring together Global Procurement, the Reseller, business stakeholders, Global Technology & Knowledge, and 3rd party developers to manage KSLC roadmap/lifecycle
- Manage and prioritize KSLC application bugs and enhancements, and drive planning, timely application releases and communications; anticipate changes to and oversee maintenance/validation of key data lists within the KSLC (such as ensuring the product table, Global cost centers, country and entity lists, users, and more, are updated when required by appropriate parties); and monitor console adoption and end user experience by analyzing metrics, soliciting stakeholder feedback, and driving improvements
- Lead and supervise all aspects of the outsourced License Desk ensuring supplier is held accountable to deliver all contracted services in accordance with the contracted service levels; ensure that the contracted service description meets the requirements for KPMG International for an outsourced License Desk; drive the operational governance for the outsourced License Desk services ensuring all contractual deliverables are met and services are meeting required SLA’s; steer optimization, automation, and continuous improvement in the outsourced License Desk Service
- Direct the development and maintenance of Global Procurement’s software ordering processes; act as the first point of contact for any technical issues or updates to the console and is accountable to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner; conduct regular reviews of existing processes, standards and practices to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and/or better align to client needs; conduct research to identify best practices
- Design and implement new processes/standards or re-engineer existing processes/standards; partner with key internal KPMGI stakeholders to ensure compliance with KPMG's regulatory, financial, legal and risk management requirements; provide advice and support to Global Procurement and/or member firms on new/updated processes and standards; maintain and update all documentation pertaining to system operations and trainings
- Act as the primary relationship manager for the Software Procurement Operations with the Global Procurement team, member firms, business units, stakeholders, outsourced License Desk, and software resellers; engage stakeholders in continuous conversation to pass on new information and solidify partnerships for future procurement activities; inform business units of Global Procurement’s performance against expected measurement criteria; maintain ongoing productive relationships with suppliers and resellers to review analyses on key Business Services deliveries
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent and related business experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a relevant business experience
- Possess Microsoft certifications: 365 Certified / Power Platform Fundamentals
- Demonstrated experience with Software procurement negotiation and/or software procurement operational management
