Description of Duties:
The Contracts Administrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
- Support Contracts Manager in daily administration of contracts.
- Assist task order teams in identifying and resolving contractual concerns with the Government.
- Resolve contractual concerns with the Government customer and Contracts Manager.
- Administer pre-final billing, contract modifications, limitations of funds, and other processes as assigned by Contracts Manager.
- Monitor contract funding levels and coordinate with Finance and Project Controls teams to request additional funding as required.
- Draft and review contractual documents such as Limitation of Funds notifications, Memorandums, and Notifications of Change.
- Support negotiation and proposal development meetings.
- Provide data entry support, to include updating funding trackers and contract briefs.
- Enter contract modifications in the company financial system.
- Maintain contract files in SharePoint and internal shared drive.
- Assist in developing elements of the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items with Documents Management team, as required.
- Support internal and external stakeholders, to include Government customers, Directors, Project Managers, and Finance Teams.
- Conduct other administrative duties as assigned.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 2 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of general experience.
- Must have 2 years directly related experience in one of the following areas: Business
Administration, Contract Administration, Finance, Bids and Proposals, or Price / Cost Analysis.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Requirements:
- Prior experience in Government Contracting is preferred, but not required.
This position is expected to pay $58,500 – $83,500 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
