Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the packaging operations, ultimately impacting the company’s performance and reputation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in your role, focusing on the following areas will be key:
- Understanding Sustainable Packaging : Grasp the principles of environmentally sustainable packaging, including material selection and life cycle impact. This knowledge will guide you to make decisions that align with the goal to reduce, reuse, recycle, or reclaim .
- Integrating Operations : Apply your knowledge of the manufacturing process and the flow of materials to establish packaging methods that integrate seamlessly and safely into the operational environment. This ensures that packaging is not just an afterthought but a part of the efficiency of the production line .
- Recognizing Distribution Dynamics : Be aware of the environmental conditions and dynamic forces that affect packaging during transit. Understanding these factors is crucial for designing packaging that ensures product protection throughout the supply chain.
- Material Knowledge : Develop a deep understanding of the physical properties, types, and characteristics of different packaging materials. This expertise will enable you to select the most appropriate materials for product protection, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact .

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
A two year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field
QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer relationship experience is required.
