Web Support Analyst
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact supporting web design and development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) mission through the ATLAS contract as a Web Developer Senior at GDIT. Our work depends on Web Developer Senior joining our team to craft, deploy, and maintain web-based products and repositories and to advance IO initiatives through the creation of communication products, videos, social media campaigns, and supporting website development. You will also provide recommendations on best practices including web-based content, usability, and design.
HOW A WEB SUPPORT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Participates in the development, revision, and delivery of internal and external web-based communications materials in coordination with IO leadership
- Consolidate information across various digital storage methods (i.e. email, SharePoint, etc.) through web-based platforms which provide access control as determined by the associated program(s)
- Recommend best practices to improve efficiencies throughout the creation, deployment, maintenance, and updating of web-based products and document/information repositories
- Utilize multiple forms of media including but not limited to video, photography, and webpage content to improve IO’s image to government and public audiences
- Create and develop professional communications and reporting products for multiple audiences (i.e. Leadership, Congressional, Media)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field along with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in managing and developing web-based platforms and analytics tools including SharePoint, Tableau, ServiceNow (SNOW), and PowerApps; or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field along with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience in managing and developing web-based platforms and analytics tools including SharePoint, Tableau, ServiceNow (SNOW), and PowerApps; or High school diploma or equivalent with additional relevant coursework or certifications along with a minimum of 10 years of extensive professional experience in managing and developing web-based platforms and analytics tools including SharePoint, Tableau, ServiceNow (SNOW), and PowerApps.
- Required Experience: Five (5) plus years [congruent] experience in web development and support analysis with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web content management and troubleshooting.
- Security Clearance Level: Must obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation for access to sensitive but unclassified information.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of SQL and database management, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics and how to interpret the data. Proficiency with SharePoint, including site creation, management, and customization. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps for building custom business applications. Proficiency with ServiceNow (SNOW) for IT service management and automation. Experience with other major computer tools and platforms for building business solutions, such as Microsoft Power Automate and Power BI.
- Required Certifications: Certifications in the following technologies, as it relates to SharePoint, including:
o CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) for foundational IT knowledge.
o CompTIA A+ for general technical support skills.
o Google Analytics Certification for web analytics proficiency.
o CIW Web Foundations Associate or CIW Web Design Specialist for web technology and design skills.
o Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate.
o Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals.
o ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or other relevant ServiceNow certifications.
o Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate or Expert.

The likely salary range for this position is $57,866 - $78,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
