RATE OF PAY: $24.65 per Hour
Summary: Performs duties described in the Service Contract Act Service Order STOCK CLERK (SHELF STOCKER; STORE WORKER). Additional duties include serving as HAZMAT Custodian. May perform duties of other classifications that have a pay rate equal to or lower than the employee’s current rate.
Duties:
21150A STOCK CLERK (SHELF STOCKER; STORE WORKER)/HAZMAT CUSTODIAN description from the Service Contract Act (SCA) Dictionary of Occupations (DOT): Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock. Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts, and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments. May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles. May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued. May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock. May cut stock to site to fill order.
Serves as the Hazardous Material Custodian and will be granted access to the NAVSUP HMM Tool. Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system (Maximo and CHRIMP Program). Processes requests for, and recommend approvals, purchases of hazardous materials using the government HAZMAT Tool Application. Verifies the material is on the AUL list and processes new AUL request.
Make request to Processes AUL requests for materials not on the current AUL list.
Maintains monthly reconciliation reports for the Hazmin Center and validates hazmat warehouse and locker inventories.

Records and inventory management
Ability to navigate computer database systems (Maximo, CHRIMP Tool Application)
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Qualification/Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Common Access Card (DOD CAC)
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of disposal procedures for safe handling of hazardous substances
Knowledge of chemical, hazardous waste, and environmental health standards
Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures
Certificate/License/Registration: Valid Driver’s License
