JOB SUMMARY:
This individual is the link between the community, referring physicians, patients and our practice. The Practice Liaison is responsible for building the practice within the community, maintaining a healthy referral relationship with area doctors, and organizing internal/external events.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. Fluent in English, bilingual preferred.
3. Salesforce Proficiency
4. Computer literacy with basic understanding of Microsoft Office/Microsoft Excel, and Windows based computer applications.
5. One to two years experience in a surgical specialty practice, ophthalmology preferred.
6. One to two years of Marketing/Outside Sales Representative experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Any and all duties assigned by management with an emphasis on the following:
1. Calls on ODs, MDs, and staff to build relationships resulting in referrals to our practice.
2. Maintain a system for organizing doctors based on priority or value of the provider to the practice’s strategic goals. This system will be the basis for which you determine how frequently you call on doctors and the planning of your routes.
3. Maintain notes and intelligence on providers that would be beneficial to increasing referral opportunities.
4. Organize community speaking events such as service club lunches and ophthalmic organizations for physician speaking engagements.
5. Schedule and plan in house events such as live cataract surgery, CE dinners and lunch n’ learns for area doctors and the public to attend at our facility.
6. Provide input in the form of content and concepts to marketing staff in the production of marketing materials.
7. Keeps track of reimbursements for all co-managing doctors. Check weekly for payments to come in from insurance companies, print supporting documentation, track information and submit to financial department to request the reimbursement.
8. Attend sporting events with doctors in social setting.
9. Tracks and reports on metrics designed to capture key performance indicators of referral program.
10. Travel and support territory in multiple markets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
