Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Enterprise Mobility Intern is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Enterprise Mobility team, including processing mobility-related service requests, assisting with mobile device procurement, preparing returned devices for secure recycling, and maintaining accurate asset records. Responsibilities also include coordinating with HCA's Mobile Expense Management (MEM/TEM) vendor, wireless carriers, and internal support teams to facilitate device ordering, activations, upgrades, returns, inventory management, and mobile service changes.
Duties include working within the enterprise service management system, utilizing the MEM/TEM vendor portal and wireless carrier portals to process requests, maintain accurate mobile asset and service records, support device lifecycle activities, assist with mobile device recovery efforts, and ensure accurate documentation within the CMDB and related asset management systems.
The Enterprise Mobility Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise mobility technologies while contributing ideas and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, improve the end-user experience, and support HCA's enterprise mobility strategy.
Other responsibilities include providing second-level support for mobility-related service requests and incidents. This role also involves provisioning, configuring, activating, and supporting mobile devices, tablets, hotspots, and related mobility services. Additional responsibilities include coordinating device upgrades, replacements, returns, and recoveries, as well as assisting with carrier activations, mobile expense management activities, and other enterprise mobility operations.
To excel in this role, a comprehensive understanding of the desktop environment and asset management are crucial. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, demonstrate leadership, and prioritize a customer-centric approach.
I will offer inventive and original concepts and methodologies to enhance the efficiency of the HCA desktop environment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order and receive mobile devices, accessories, and carrier services.
- Process device activations, upgrades, replacements, and deactivations through the MEM/TEM vendor and carrier portals.
- Maintain accurate mobile asset inventory and lifecycle records.
- Prepare, stage, configure, and ship mobile devices to end users.
- Receive, inspect, wipe, and prepare returned mobile devices for recycling or redeployment.
- Coordinate device recovery efforts for upgrades, employee separations, and other asset recovery initiatives.
- Maintain inventory of mobile devices, accessories, and loaner equipment while ensuring storage areas remain organized.
- Assist with mobile asset reporting, audits, and lifecycle management activities, including Zero Use and Active/Inactive reviews.
- Support mobile procurement activities, including tracking orders, shipments, and carrier fulfillment.
- With management guidance and approval, research, test, and recommend process improvements that enhance enterprise mobility operations and the end-user experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Enterprise Mobility team.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- MCP or Comp TIA certification preferred. College graduate preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must have experience with:

- Customer service attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
