DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Operating Machines Independently : Efficiently and safely operating production equipment to meet quality and productivity standards, while also coaching others.
- Promoting Health and Safety : Proactively identifying and reporting hazards, complying with HSE standards, and using appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe workplace.
- Ensuring Quality : Following standard work procedures, performing quality inspections, and addressing non-conforming materials to minimize cost and quality issues.
- Achieving Delivery Goals : Meeting production targets by operating equipment proficiently, maintaining cycle times, and ensuring products meet customer expectations.
- Maintaining Work Area : Keeping the work area clean and orderly, performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a smooth production process.
- Collaborating with Teams : Working effectively with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and identify repair needs, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Providing Training and Support : Instructing and coaching less experienced team members, acting as an informal resource to enhance team capability and performance.
- Engaging in Continuous Improvement : Actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development, contributing to overall operational excellence.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

- Able to lift 30lbs as needed.
- Preferred one year remanufacture experience.
