Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an ET-3 Aircrew Flight Equipment Test Engineer for the TMAS 2 96 CTG Task Order, supporting the 46 TS / TGBC.

LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL
JOB STATUS: FT
TRAVEL: 25%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3-10 years of applicable experience. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
- Active Secret clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship.
- Must be a self-motivated and able to take responsibility for identifying, organizing, coordinating, and executing necessary tasks leading to the successful accomplishment of assigned duties.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an integrated test team
- Previous qualification as an AFE Technician or Survivable Equipment Specialist
- Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills to provide results to decision makers.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook applications is required.
- Familiar with operational use of various aircrew flight equipment to include oxygen masks, helmets, CBRN protection, laser eye protection, and helmet mounted devices.
- Familiarity in the operational use of various aircrew flight equipment test equipment to include the following: oxygen mask test sets, aircraft intercom test sets, and night vision goggle test sets.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Developing test plans and reports.
- Collecting, parsing, and validating data.
- Analyzing data, reporting findings and observations, and documenting deficiencies to determine compliance with user requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs as Test Engineer for Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) test objectives.
- Provides support for planning, execution, and reporting phases of developmental test and evaluation (DT&E).
- Provides technical leadership in the identification of test objectives, methods of testing, test support and documentation requirements for test projects.
- Assists in writing methods of test, test directives, technical or letter reports, and any other test related documents as required in the conduct of testing.
