DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Custom Order Management Senior Specialist to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our corporate business in Asheville, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Own and manage the end-to-end order life cycle for medium to complex key customers, ensuring smooth processing and fulfillment.
Resolve order exceptions and customer inquiries regarding product availability, prices, delivery times, and order status promptly and accurately.
Liaise with functional stakeholders to mitigate short- and mid-term customer constraints.
Analyze customer inquiries to identify recurring problems, recommend solutions, and identify areas for service improvement.
Ensure internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met by complying with communication plans and processes.
Support departmental goals and initiatives to become a more proactive, customer-centric organization by developing, documenting, and enhancing standard administrative practices related to customer communication and order processes.
Identify and develop proactive communications for the assigned customer base regarding processes, policies, and best practices.
Mentor and train new team members, providing back-up coverage across multiple accounts.
Lead local continuous improvement projects and participate in global projects to enhance order management processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Demonstrates proactive customer support interactions required at each phase of the order life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
Understands the phases of the end-to-end order life cycle and how they relate to customer support for a positive customer experience.
Demonstrates the ability to process customer orders, make modifications, and respond to queries accurately and timely using system screens.
Manages the processing of customer orders from receipt to exception resolution, ensuring fulfillment of customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in order management, customer service, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Additional Details:
Ability to work with customers, suppliers, transportation, and manufacturing personnel.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
Base salary range: $74,800 - $112,200
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
