DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Associate Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Promote Safety: Stop work and report any major injury hazards. Also, report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with HSE Standards: Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Promote Interdependence: Look out for one another and correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Minimize Environmental Impact : Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact.
- Maintain Quality: Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures. Perform quality inspections and control non-conforming material.
- Ensure Delivery: Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product. Achieve production goals and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Demonstrate Flexibility : Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals. Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.
- Enhance Teamwork : Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Physical Requirements:
- Must lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times/hour
- Must be able to grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.
- Must be able to press together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times/hour
- Must be able to insert retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times/hour
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8-12 hours/shift up to 2 hours consecutively
- Must push/pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb force up to 30 feet
Compensation:
