In this role, you will work with Market leaders in providing direction for the day-to-day operations of the identified market, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall corporate and project objectives, and ensuring profitability. The strategic Industry Advisor is a recognized expert and key decision maker in the market segment who supports the business development, marketing, and project execution teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Initial Interface with the client at the onset to channel communications– phase in traditional design, process meetings after establishing unified direction.
- Collaborate with Project Directors, internal design disciplines, and clients to foster complete manufacturing concepts, minimization of rework and Value Engineering Processes, and high client satisfaction.
- Lead market-specific presentations and support project execution teams by providing detailed background information and supporting the development of presentation strategy.
- Present at industry events and Haskell technical summits. Actively share knowledge and develop team members.
- Partner with the Manufacturing Consulting Team to develop industry-specific offerings and deliver these services to clients.
- Partner with and Support Market/Division Leader with client acquisition activities, market research, and client targeting strategy.
- Direct and assist the Business Development team on strategy and implementation of client outreach, correspondence, selling techniques, and presentations.
- Support the Business Development and marketing team in proposal development, digital presence, trade show participation, and materials and marketing strategy implementation.
- Lead market-specific presentations and support project execution teams by providing detailed background information and developing presentation strategy.
- Serve as the Haskell Account Manager for key clients of the identified market.
- Serve as the Haskell relationship manager with industry vendors & partners of identified markets.
- Coordinate with Engineering Leadership to identify required technical competencies and assist in creating a strategy to address specific project needs.
- Support Project Directors with pursuit development and capture strategy or lead initial pursuit depending on project size.
- Assist Market Leader and Market DOC in maintaining positive financial status.
- Assist the Market Leader in developing and implementing the market business plan and strategy.
- Maintain recognized expert status for the identified market segment.
- Travel as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Education & Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations with 5-10 years of Operations experience preferred, or a combination of education and Operations experience.

- Exhibit an advanced level of client confidence as measured by client feedback, survey process, and internal observation.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
