This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
Basic Qualifications
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college
- Previous professional experience in either Finance, Business Adminsitration, Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management, or combination thereof.
- Previous professional experience with negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments
- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Desired Skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types.
- Knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
- Knowledge of and experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
- Experience in presenting to Management and/or Customer representatives.
- Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments.
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Ability to be flexible and accept change.
- Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
