A background in hotel, events, or the restaurant industry is a plus!

What will I be doing?
As an Event Service Manager, you will be responsible for event execution between the hotel and the customer during meetings or events. You will serve as the main contact for event planners on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of the event and contributing to the re-booking of future business. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direction and supervision to hotel departments during event execution.
- Proactively serving on-site group and catering customers.
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties by developing plans and goals.
- Timely communication with internal and external clients via various channels.
- Demonstrating knowledge of job systems, products, and processes.
- Resolving conflicts, negotiating, and handling complaints.
- Selling and influencing both internal and external clients.
- Making decisions and solving problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solution.
- Ensuring high-quality service by understanding guest needs, providing direction, and offering feedback and coaching as needed.
- Participating in customer site inspections and assisting with the sales process as necessary.
- Other duties as necessary based on business needs.
