Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect to guide implementation and expansion of Salesforce CRM and accompanying services for multiple business units within A Place for Mom. This role is a good fit for technically minded people with a good understanding of software engineering processes and challenges posed by growing business and considerable integration footprint.
You will leverage your experience tuning Salesforce to be the primary tool for internal business operations, using all of the advantages a SaaS product brings along with integration with existing back office processes of a fully operational enterprise.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate has participated and led multiple Salesforce implementation initiatives, kept up to date with latest and greatest practices as pertains to building a Salesforce instance that provides maximum benefit for the business and can relay this knowledge and experience to the engineering and business teams. Additionally, they have understanding of the software development lifecycle process as it applies to maintaining a reliable and predictable Salesforce environment.
What you will do:
- Guide and mentor the Salesforce configuration and engineering team as well as back office engineering teams, providing ideas and solutions for growing and improving the instance
- Maintain expertise in cutting edge Salesforce features and implementation patterns.
- Partner with business, product, and engineering leadership to gather requirements, gut check new feature proposals, and drive large system improvements.
- Provide the teams with best practices, examples, and learning approaches to improve assimilation of Salesforce as part of the larger software landscape.
- Help troubleshoot and provide root cause analysis for potential issues as well as methodologies for advance warning for system health aberrations.
- Champion native capabilities of Salesforce that can benefit the enterprise and reduce custom development efforts
Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Multiple successful implementation and integration Salesforce projects in technical leadership roles
- Salesforce Architecture and Development (Apex)
- Integration: Oath/SAML/LDap/AD/ Database Management
- Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Github/etc)
- Salesforce DX (SFDX)
- Salesforce Flows and Process Builder
- Salesforce Workbench and Salesforce Dataloader
- Salesforce APIs and Web Services development/architecture (REST)
- Salesforce Event Publishing
- Source control based Salesforce configuration maintenance and deployment
- Experience practicing contemporary software development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, XP, etc.
Additional Information
Compensation
- Base Salary: $160,000 to $175,000 + 20% Bonus
