Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Texas Division is seeking a Pathology Medical Director for Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, TX.
HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.
Qualified Candidates:
- AP and CP Board Certification required
- 2 years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred
- General surgical pathology experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
Pathology Volumes/Cases:
- This practice consists of 1 pathologist. This pathologist will be in the call cohort for the west market of Medical City Alliance, Fort Worth & Weatherford one week per month.
- 3600 annual cases including surgicals, cytology, established and ramping breast program, bone marrows, facility transitioning to level 2 trauma center
- Oversight of the labs within the free-standing emergency departments associated with the hospital
