Job Summary
Join our dynamic team at KBR, where we're currently hiring a Warehouseman to join our materials management team based at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) facility in Anniston, AL. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a key role in material handling and data processing efforts for our overhaul operations on the AGT1500 turbine engine. Roles and Responsibilities
- Aid in various warehousing tasks with proficiency, adhering to the establishment's storage protocols, including physical counts, coordinating materials, operating equipment, planning, verifying, and issuance or any other activities associated with materials management
- Aid in production auditing, training efforts, including building kits when needed
- Support leadership and maintain new and urgent workflow in production and data processing
- Explore and utilize necessary SAP reporting tools and aid in any dashboard accuracy
- Collaborate on a multi-departmental level with leadership
- Process and verify transactions, receipts, and build pick lists within SAP as needed
- Sort, scan, and store documents when needed
- Investigate and track documents through the production process as needed
- Verify inventory to manifest as needed
- Prepare materials for orders or shipment by retrieving them from storage and ensuring proper packaging as needed
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment
- Be prepared for heavy lifting duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US citizenship
- Must have a valid social security card, driver’s license, and birth certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Prior material handling and inventory management
Potential Work Schedule
Hours of operations Mon-Thur 06:30am-6:00pm (additional hours from 4:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work). Fridays 06:30am - 6:00pm (additional hours from 3:00pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work), and all Saturdays 06:00am-6:00pm (additional hours from 2:30pm-6:00pm if scheduled to work). Subject to change based on contract/client requirements, including additional overtime shift coverage.
