This role owns the product roadmap and implementation strategy; coordinates vendor, clinical, operational, and IT workstreams; and ensures the solution is safely integrated into oncology workflows and supporting enterprise systems. The Senior Product Manager will serve as the primary product leader for the program, translating medical oncology needs into prioritized capabilities, deployment plans, measurable outcomes, and sustainable support processes.
As Senior Product Manager:
- Leads end-to-end product execution for the third-party medical oncology solution, from design and build through pilot, phased deployment, stabilization, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Leads product, analyst, technical, and implementation resources responsible for configuration, integration, testing, deployment, adoption, and support of the medical oncology solution.
- Defines standardized medical oncology workflows and identifies opportunities to improve clinician efficiency, patient safety, data quality, automation, and operational performance through the solution.
- Partners with oncology clinical leaders, pharmacy, nursing, operations, enterprise IT, security, data/integration teams, and the third-party vendor to align scope, sequencing, decisions, dependencies, and delivery.
Direct reports to this position may include: - Managers and team leads responsible for developing, mentoring and managing project management professionals.
- All levels of Product Analysts and Developers responsible for delivering projects, product and support within the ITG portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary product leader and escalation point for the medical oncology solution, coordinating decisions and issue resolution across enterprise leadership, oncology stakeholders, IT teams, and the third-party vendor.
- Builds strong partnerships from frontline oncology clinicians through executive leadership; establishes governance and drives consensus on clinical workflow, product scope, deployment readiness, and prioritization.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate a motivating environment which brings out the best in people and improves performance of others.
- Exhibits behavior to create a positive environment for the staff, including open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues.

- Drives workflow standardization, change management, training readiness, adoption, and continuous improvement for medical oncology users across deploying facilities.
- Ensures enterprise architecture, security, privacy, clinical safety, integration, data, change-control, and implementation standards are incorporated into solution design and deployment plans.
- Owns program risks, issues, dependencies, and decision escalation, including vendor performance, integration readiness, clinical workflow gaps, data migration, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Manages financial performance for the medical oncology product portfolio, including implementation costs, vendor commitments, resource forecasts, budget-to-actual performance, and value realization.
- Leads prioritization of product capabilities, interfaces, workflow enhancements, facility deployment waves, and remediation work when clinical needs, vendor capacity, timelines, or enterprise resources conflict.
- Maintains an integrated roadmap and deployment plan with clear milestones, readiness criteria, KPIs, risks, and executive reporting across build, pilot, rollout, and stabilization phases.
- Defines and monitors success measures for implementation and adoption, including deployment readiness, defect resolution, clinician adoption, workflow performance, support trends, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manages all levels of product analysts and developers in the execution of their responsibilities with the aim of establishing them as leaders of programs and portfolios.
- Enforces accountability within staff, establishes controls and utilizes department metrics to measure success and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Performs personnel actions including hiring, assignment, reviews, recruitment and termination.
- Collaborates with employees to define individual career development plans and encourages employee to track progress against development plan.
- Coaches and mentors; ensuring assignments provide growth opportunities for employees.
- Ensures regular communication and feedback occurs with colleagues across ITG, maintains two-way dialogue on work and results; is a clear communicator.
- Displays resiliency and copes with stress, pressures and setbacks in a productive and positive way.

What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Five or more years of experience leading complex technology implementations or enterprise product deployments Preferred
- Five or more years of experience in Healthcare; oncology, clinical systems, or medication-management technology experience strongly preferred Preferred
- Seven or more years of experience in Microsoft Office Preferred
- Seven or more years of experience in Information Technology Preferred
- Agile Project Management, Scrum, or product management certificationPreferred
