Job Summary and Qualifications
Summary:
- You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition
- You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
- You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
- You will participate in performance improvement activities
- You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
- Current license to practice as a registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS required
- NRP required within three (3) months of Hire/Transfer
- S.T.A.B.L.E. current certification must be obtained within 6 months of Hire/Transfer
- Minimum of 1-year recent labor and delivery nursing experience in a comparable unit
