Summary
As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for maintaining and strengthening customer relationships within a defined territory. Identifies opportunities for account growth while offering customers a full array of value-added services.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Account Ownership: Manage and nurture a high-profile, established regional enterprise portfolio in the New York City metro area, serving as the primary consultant for both domestic and international logistics solutions.
- Full-Lifecycle Implementation: Drive territory growth and long-term customer success by leading the entire sales cycle, from uncovering expansion opportunities to directly overseeing customer onboarding.
- Acquire, Develop and Expand customer revenue
- High level of negotiation skills needed to implement complex pricing programs, logistics optimization, and aligning customers’ needs to strategic goals of the company.
- Exhibiting outstanding communication skills including verbal, written and listening to learn the customer’s business and leverages emerging technology and internal systems to drive compelling business proposition.
- Coordinates and collaborates with internal functional teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
- Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals.
- Strong business acumen skills, project management skills and ability to generate creative solutions based on customer needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred qualifications:
- Preferred Logistics Expertise: Successful candidates will bring a proven track record of B2B field sales excellence, with a strong preference for background experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent and two (2) years of business-to-business sales or related Company business experience required.

Ability to travel overnight as required.

Domicile:
The desired location for this position is New York City, NY. This is a customer-facing role that requires regular in‑person meetings. Candidates must live within a 50‑mile radius of 621 W 48th St New York City, NY surrounding cities within the territory.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Pay Grade: SP5 ($8,100.00/month - $14,700.00/month)
