About Visa Direct:
Visa Direct provides an array of money movement solutions to clients worldwide, facilitating fund transfers to cards, bank accounts and digital wallets. Our services cater to various applications including person-to-person (P2P) transfers, business to person transfers, business to business transfers, and more. These flows are addressed with several Visa’s solutions tailored for our customer needs, such as: Visa Direct for Card (VDC), Visa Direct for Account (VDA), Visa Direct for Wallet (VDW), B2B Connect (B2BC), Currencycloud and several value added services.
We are seeking an experienced payments leader to join our team.
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager will be responsible for the Visa Direct portfolio management in the Latin America and Caribbean region (LAC), which includes Product Roadmap management, local Product Enhancements requests, Product Localization to the region, Product Communication to clients, Competition Intelligence, Sales materials and collaterals, equipping the sales teams with tools to sell more efficiently. The position is based in Miami/FL.
The position requires a commercial acumen on the payment industry. It requires working closely with the Global Visa Direct Product and also with LAC Specialized Sales, Commercialization, Solutioning and Network Readiness teams to integrate a unified set of XB money movement solutions into a comprehensive value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management: identifying customer needs for new product development or enhancement of existing products, localizing Visa Direct products to LAC market, managing Product Roadmap, ensuring product compliance with local regulations and equipping sales team with Sales materials and collaterals.
Competitor Analysis: understanding the competitive landscape and how their product compares in order to support strategic decisions about product features, positioning, and pricing.
Cross-functional Collaboration: working with different teams like global product development, solutioning, network, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure a successful product launch.
Stakeholder Communication: regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep them updated about Visa money movement solutions and gather their feedback.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be proactive and excel in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- They should have outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills, organizational savvy, and interpersonal skills. Experience in the banking and payments industry is a must.
- Background of Product Management preferably at a global or multi-market level
- Business acumen on the payment industry 7 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Creative self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing, building, launching and commercializing technology products that delight customers
- Background in product, solutioning and ecosystem enablement
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients
- Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence, must be able to interface with senior client executives
- Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in an approachable way to influence and drive adaption
- English and Spanish fluency required

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500.00 to 182,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
