Maintain integrity of the supply plan and take corrective actions to ensure supply plan stability. Lead daily operations across functions, utilizing experience in identifying solutions to complex Supply Chain issues in order to ensure dependable and efficient Inventory, Cost, and Delivery Balancing. Use knowledge of business, customers, markets, and products to efficiently challenge demand plan assumptions to improve the quality and robustness of the demand plan. Utilize experience with Master Supply Planning and Demand Disaggregation to balance supply and demand in order to achieve the financial and service objectives, while stabilizing the supply chain and optimizing the supply chain tensions and to improve supply forecast accuracy. Utilize knowledge of Supply Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and procedures in order to establish collaborative business partner relationships. Lead continuous improvement projects that align with the organization’s Operating System and Functional Excellence direction, and leverage common processes tools and information systems. Support Corporate Supply Chain Management initiatives and lead the regional/global disaggregation and supply forecasting process to ensure global alignment. Consult with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain Planning teams to facilitate Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques utilizing continuous process improvement initiatives. Work with the Demand Control Leader to understand the implications of near order trends on availability. Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets through use of effective cross-cultural communication. Utilize Six Sigma tools and processes including Voice of the Customer and Finite Element Analysis to develop appropriate new internal and external processes, projects and employee involvement plans. Assess gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables, and interpret KPIs to understand end-customer impact. Perform Data Extraction, Modeling, and Statistical Analysis using Advanced Excel Tools with the goal of mining useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting value creating decision making. Control the life-cycle of all problems within the supply chain using knowledge of Problem Management, Quality Control Processes, and Trade Regulations Compliance to proactively prevent recurrence of incidents to minimize adverse impact on the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Demand or Supply Chain Planner, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Demand or Supply Chain Planner, or related position. Experience to include: Identify solutions to complex Supply Chain issues; Inventory, Cost, and Delivery Balancing; Supply Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and procedures; Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques; Continuous improvement processes; Six Sigma tools and processes; Data Extraction, Modeling, and Statistical Analysis using advanced excel tools; Quality Control Processes; Trade Regulations Compliance.
