A day in the life of a Senior QA Automation Engineer at MetLife Legal Plans:
As a Test Engineer in our company, you will work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand why we’re building a product and the specific requirements. Then, you will run a series of tests through all stages of development to evaluate software functions and design test protocols to ensure that products work as intended.
Our technology stack includes ReactJs, Django, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Git Linux, Jest, Cypress, etc.
To ensure success as a software test engineer, you should have advanced software design and engineering knowledge, a good eye for detail, and a natural gift for software troubleshooting.
Our technology team is a tight-knit group passionate about user happiness, security, automation, and open-source software. We value attitude and work ethic above technical credentials. Building new technology is messy, so you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
MetLife Legal Plans is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, but our engineering team is remote by default, so you can work from wherever you like. The team gets together in person each year, though people who live near each other will often meet up more frequently.
