SUMMARYEnsures that the Locust Grove building, including office spaces, building systems, restrooms, common areas, and grounds are maintained to Andersen standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all building-related equipment is functioning properly. (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Assists with prioritization of incoming work orders.
- Responsible for recognizing problem areas and taking independent action to resolve them.
- Ability to recommend / report / troubleshoot necessary building repairs and understand when professional involvement is needed.
- Conduct basic repairs to miscellaneous facilities equipment / fixtures.
- Ensures work orders and PM’s are being performed on all related issues / equipment. (Managing workloads electronically and reporting outcomes to immediate supervisor).
- Ensures quality / safety standards are being met throughout all job functions; Reporting unsafe conditions per Andersen’s safety policy to immediate Supervisor.
- Provides continuous improvement ideas and implements improvements in processes
- Ensures building grounds are kept safe, clean, and respectable.
- Surveys grounds daily and assists in setting priorities on a daily and seasonal basis.
- Provide indirect supervision of contracted grounds services
- Provides indirect supervision of all on-site Service Providers and provides inputs on their performances to immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Requires of 3 - 5 years of related experience.
- Proficient computer skills. (i.e. MS applications, CMMS, EMS, etc.).
- Basic understanding of buildings/ grounds infrastructures. (i.e. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, fire alarms, fire suppression, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal customers, service providers, supervisor, and coworkers.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee performance of on-site service providers.
- Required knowledge of using proper PPE. (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Occasionally working near hot equipment and / or materials.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Occasional squatting and crawling required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
