MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Systems Administrator to join our team working in
Silverdale, WA. This is an
onsite position.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues
- Modernize key infrastructure components
- Monitor system performance and report on risks/issues
- Research and recommend new approaches to improve the networked computer system
- Provide technical support as needed
- Document processes and procedures for customers to follow
- Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework standards
- Availability outside of standard working hours to resolve emergency issues
- Travel up to 25%
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical field
- 5+ years of System Administration or Engineering experience, including server-side technology and networked computing systems
- Must possess one of the following certifications: Microsoft MCSE, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Server+, and/or CompTIA Network+
- Must have prior experience with SQL and database operations
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification
- Experience with AWS cloud migration
- Skills collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
- Experience with business process engineering
Clearance Requirements
- Citizenship required and a current or active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
