Job Summary and Qualifications
Summary:
Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. - You will provide intensive monitoring of patients emerging from anesthesia
- You will provide monitoring includes airway maintenance, SA02 status, vital signs, Cardiac arrhythmias, paralysis, pain management, and agitation
- You will maintain patient records and documents according to standards
- You will direct ancillary staff. Maintains vigilance of patient progression toward meeting discharge criteria
- You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
- You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
- BLS, ACLS and PALS or ENPC must be obtained within three (3) months of date of Hire/Transfer
- At least one-year recent RN experience in surgical suite
