Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Principal Data Center Facilities Development Manager to help plan and deliver data center capacity across a gigawatt-scale portfolio. Depending on portfolio needs, this individual contributor may lead long-range development planning, readiness for new campuses, or end-to-end delivery of assigned programs. The role connects site, power, design, construction, deployment, and operations teams to turn complex dependencies into clear plans, decisions, and capacity-ready handoffs.
Internal Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated plans for complex data center facilities programs or portfolio initiatives, connecting capacity needs, site readiness, design, construction, commissioning, and operational handoff.
- Identify critical milestones, dependencies, constraints, and decision points; develop practical options when scope, schedule, or readiness changes.
- Bring accountable teams together to resolve cross-functional risks and maintain a reliable view of program progress.
- Evaluate planning and delivery scenarios, including their effects on capacity timing, cost, and execution risk, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
- Establish readiness criteria, reporting, escalation paths, and repeatable practices that can be used across sites and programs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external providers while keeping technical approvals and execution decisions with their accountable owners.
- Lead lessons learned and process improvements that strengthen future portfolio planning and program delivery.
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading complex data center facilities, large-scale infrastructure, or capital development programs.
- Ability to build integrated plans and resolve dependencies across multiple technical and delivery teams.
- Working understanding of the data center development lifecycle, including site and power readiness, design, construction, commissioning, and handoff.
- Strong judgment in assessing schedule, cost, and readiness risks and presenting decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with hyperscale or multi-campus data center programs.
- Experience in long-range capacity planning, portfolio development, or end-to-end infrastructure delivery.
- Experience creating scalable program controls, readiness measures, and executive reporting.
